- 3/4 c. butter
- 3 eggs, separted
- 1 c. grated carrots
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 c. walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. cake flour
- small bottle cherries
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks.

2Mix well.

3Add carrots, cherries and juice.

4Sift flour, soda and baking powder and add. Add nuts and egg whites, stiffly beaten.

5Bake for 50 minutes at 350°.
