- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. grated raw carrots
- 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Grease well and flour two round 8-inch layer cake pans.

3Sift together the flour, salt, soda and cinnamon; set aside.

4Combine sugar, oil and eggs; beat 2 minutes. Gradually add flour mixture.

5Beat at low speed for 1 minute. Add grated carrots and chopped nuts.

6Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
