- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 3 c. carrots, shredded
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. pecans
- dash of salt
Directions

1In large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a small bowl, beat eggs gently, not much with a fork.

2In a medium bowl, combine oil, sugar and eggs from small bowl, carrots and pecans; stir together by hand.

3Combine medium bowl with ingredients in large bowl; stir well by hand. Pour into three 8-inch greased cake pans.

4Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, or until done.

5Let cool before frosting.
