- 1 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. grated carrots
Directions

1Combine oil and sugar; mix well.

2Sift half the dry ingredients into sugar mixture.

3Blend.

4Sift remaining dry ingredients alternately with eggs, one at a time, into mixture, mixing well each time.

5Add carrots and mix well.

6Pour into lightly oiled 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
