- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. grated carrots
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix together sugar, salt, flour, baking soda and baking powder.

2In another bowl mix the eggs and oil.

3Beat well. Combine the two mixtures and blend well with electric mixer.

4Add carrots and vanilla and blend.

5Pour into greased and floured layer cake pans and bake in 325° oven for about 35 minutes.
