- 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. grated carrots
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 2 tsp. black walnut flavoring
Directions

1Mix well the oil, sugar and eggs.

2Add flour, baking powder and soda, salt and cinnamon.

3Blend in the carrots, walnuts and flavoring.

4Pour in a large greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.

5Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

6Frost with cream cheese frosting if desired.
