- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. grated carrots
- 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Sift flour and next 4 ingredients and sift again.

2Set aside. Combine oil and sugar.

3Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each egg.

4Add dry ingredients slowly.

5Blend well.

6Add carrots and nuts.

7Blend well.

8Pour into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan or three well-greased 8-inch cake pans.

9Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

10Frost when cake has cooled.
