Ingredients

  • 12 medium-large carrots
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese
  • 3 c. bread cubes
  • 1/3 c. margarine

Directions

    Cut, cook and drain carrots.

    Cook onions in 1/4 cup margarine until brown.

    Stir in flour, salt and mustard.

    Add milk and stir until smooth.

    Add pepper, celery salt and cheese; stir until cheese melts.

    Put carrots in casserole and pour sauce over carrots.

    Mix.

    Melt 1/3 cup margarine and mix with bread cubes. Put on top.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
