  • 1 lb pork chop boneless
  • 1 lb ground sirloin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 cup multicolored sweet peppers
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
  • 28 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 3/4 cup diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Hersheys special dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

    Dice the carrots, multicolored peppers, and onion.

    Heat oil In a pot add carrots, peppers and onion.

    Saute in pot for 4 minutes.

    Add ground sirloin and pork.

    Incorporate well and when browned add tomatoes and spices.

    Stir in well.

    Simmer 8 minutes add tomato sauce and tomato paste.

    Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.

    Put into bowls add cheese and cilantro on top.
