- 1 lb. carrots, pared and julienned
- 1 can chicken broth
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Cook carrots in broth 10 minutes.

2Melt 1/4 cup butter.

3Add onions and saute 5 to 10 minutes.

4Stir in flour, salt, pepper and water.

5Bring to boiling.

6Add carrots and stock.

7Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

8Serves 8.
