Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce soup (undiluted)
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil carrots, pepper and onion (carrots should be sliced crosswise) in salt and water just until tender.

    Do not overcook. Mix the soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.

    Cook together.

    Bring to a good boil for a minute or so. Pour over carrots, pepper and onion.
