- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 cans (13 3/4 oz. each) chicken broth
- 2 c. carrots, chopped
- 1 c. potatoes, diced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- dash of salt and pepper
Directions

1Saute bacon, onion and garlic until bacon is crisp.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Heat to boiling, then reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes.

4Cool slightly, then pour mixture in blender; process until smooth.

5Garnish with a dollop of sour cream.
