  • 10 carrots large
  • 3 tomatoes large
  • 1 green pepper large, optional
  • salt
  • 1 ginger large
  • bay leaf
  • mint
  • 1 cup water

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes,carrots,green-pepper,ginger,peel and cut the into even pieces,wash the bay leaf,mint,place the ingredients into the blender.Add 4 tablespoons of water and blend,stop to check the consistency,keep on adding water and blend til the paste is fine.

    Place a pot over medium heat pour the blended mixture add salt and bring to boil.

    Serve while hot as a starter with bread,or as a soup with the main dish(white coconut rice/lemon rice/chapati/roti/plantains/yam/cassava/matoke/mashed potatoes/
