- 8 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. undiluted consomme
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
Directions

1In a saucepan, cover carrots with water and salt.

2Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes or until tender.

3Drain carrots and return to saucepan.

4Add remaining ingredients and heat until liquid is partially reduced.

5Discard garlic and serve immediately.
