- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. toasted cashew nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, water and cream of tartar.

2Cook and stir until sugar dissolves.

3Bring to boiling point, boil until syrup reaches hard crack stage of 300°.

4Remove from heat; stir in cashews and vanilla.

5Set pan in larger pan of hot water to keep soft.

6Drop by tablespoon onto greased baking sheet or wax paper to form clusters.
