- 4 c. raw potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 2/3 c. coarsely diced green pepper
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Starting with potatoes, put vegetables in layers in a 2-quart casserole, reserving about 1/3 of the pepper, celery and onion. Sprinkle each layer with part of the salt and pepper.

2Mix tomato soup and water.

3Pour over meat and potato layers.

4Cover and bake in a 350° oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6.
