  • 2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Marinate chicken pieces in buttermilk about 2 hours.

    Mix flour, cornmeal and spices in a bowl.
