- 1/2 pound bacon iced
- 2 CLOVE garlic minced
- 2 each onions diced
- 1 each green bell peppers diced
- 1 each sweet red bell peppers diced
- 1 x red pepper flakes crushed
- 8 ounces okra sliced
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 2 pounds catfish ubed
- 1 x salt
- 1 x black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups tomatoes, canned diced
- 3 cups fish stock
Directions

1In a heavy bottomed soup pot, saute the bacon.

2As soon as it startes to brown add the onion and diced green and red pepper.

3Cook for about 5 min more.

4Add the diced tomatoes.

7Add the okra and the fish stock bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.

8Cook until soup starts to thicken(tomato paste can be added at this point if desired).

9Add the cubed catfish and simmer until fish is done.
