- 4 to 5 ears fresh corn
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/4 c. sweet milk
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Cut corn off cob; scrape cob for juice.

2Bring milk and butter to a boil.

3Add all ingredients in a heavy 2-quart pot.

4Cut heat down to medium-low.

5Cook, uncovered, for 45 minutes, stirring often.

6Don't allow to stick and burn.
