- 13 cup cornmeal
- 12 cup sugar
- 14 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 14 cup warm water
- 2 14 teaspoons dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups flour
Directions

1Cook Group 1 until thick, stirring frequently.

3Combine warm water with yeast.

4Add the eggs to the cooled Group 1 mix.

5Beat.

6Stir in the yeast mix.

7Add flour to the mixture.

9The dough will be soft.

10Use a serving spoon and spoon onto slightly greased cookie sheet or large pan.

12Bake at 375 degrees for 20- 25 minutes or until very light brown.
