- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. cavatappi
- 3 c. whipping cream
- 3/4 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 2 c. onion, julienned
- 2 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 stick sweet cream butter
- 12 oz. capicolla ham, julienned
- 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook cavatappi according to package directions.

2Meanwhile, in a large pot, heat cream and add garlic, onions and mushrooms.

3Cook three minutes, stirring constantly.

4Stir in butter, capicolla ham and basil.

5Stir until butter melts.

6Add hot pasta, pea pods and sauce, Parmesan, salt and pepper.

7Let thicken.
