Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. cavatappi
  • 3 c. whipping cream
  • 3/4 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 2 c. onion, julienned
  • 2 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 stick sweet cream butter
  • 12 oz. capicolla ham, julienned
  • 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook cavatappi according to package directions.

    Meanwhile, in a large pot, heat cream and add garlic, onions and mushrooms.

    Cook three minutes, stirring constantly.

    Stir in butter, capicolla ham and basil.

    Stir until butter melts.

    Add hot pasta, pea pods and sauce, Parmesan, salt and pepper.

    Let thicken.
