- 1 c. rigatoni, uncooked
- 1 c. small shells, uncooked
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 large jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 6 oz. can water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- Romano cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef in large saucepan draining excess fat.

2Add spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, water, bouillon cube, green pepper and onion.

3Simmer 30 minutes.

4Cook rigatoni and small shells for 15 minutes in boiling water.

5Drain.

6Layer 1/2 cooked macaroni in 2 qt. casserole dish.

7Add layer of 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with romano.

8Layer rest of cooked macaroni.

9Pour sauce over all.

10Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and romano cheese. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes.
