- 1 (16 oz.) can lite pear halves
- 1/2 c. nonfat plain yogurt
- 1/3 c. reduced calorie Italian salad dressing
- 1/2 tsp. minced ginger root
- 4 c. romaine lettuce or spinach
- 1/4 c. toasted wheat germ
- 1/2 chopped red pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped pitted prunes
Directions

1Drain pears, reserving 1 tablespoon liquid.

2Combine reserved liquid, yogurt, dressing and ginger.

3Toss half of the dressing with lettuce.

4Place lettuce on serving dish; sprinkle with wheat germ.

5Arrange pears and prunes over lettuce.

6Drizzle with remaining dressing.

7Serves 4.
