Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can lite pear halves
  • 1/2 c. nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1/3 c. reduced calorie Italian salad dressing
  • 1/2 tsp. minced ginger root
  • 4 c. romaine lettuce or spinach
  • 1/4 c. toasted wheat germ
  • 1/2 chopped red pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped pitted prunes

Directions

    Drain pears, reserving 1 tablespoon liquid.

    Combine reserved liquid, yogurt, dressing and ginger.

    Toss half of the dressing with lettuce.

    Place lettuce on serving dish; sprinkle with wheat germ.

    Arrange pears and prunes over lettuce.

    Drizzle with remaining dressing.
