- 4 c. sliced celery
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. light cream
- 1/2 c. double strength chicken bouillon
- 1 c. sliced almonds
Directions

1Cook, covered, over low heat the celery, butter and seasoning.

2Add onion while it simmers.

3When tender, remove and blend in flour. Add cream and bouillon; cook until sauce thickens. Just before serving, add almonds which have been lightly browned in butter.

4Serves 8 to 10.
