Celery Casserole

  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 36 Ritz crackers
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 1/2 oz. almonds, sliced

Directions

    Melt butter; put 1/2 in baking dish.

    Boil celery for 5 minutes in salt water.

    Drain and put in baking dish.

    Place sliced chestnuts on top of celery.

    Pour soup over.

    Crunch crackers on top of soup, then almonds and butter on top.

    Bake in 7 x 10-inch baking dish at 350° for 35 minutes.
