- 2 cups peeled diced potatoes
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cups half-and-half
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 lb medium shrimp, cleaned
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients in a large dutch oven.

2Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 10 minutes.

3Mix flour and half-and-half in small bowl.

4Add to potatoes, stirring well.

5Add shrimp.

6Add butter and celery salt.

7Cook on medium until thick and bubbly.
