1Season ground lamb with salt and pepper to taste. Shape meat into cylinders 1 1/2 to 2-inches long. Refrigerate overnight. Cook meat on charcoal or wood grill, turning until done. Toast pita rounds until slightly brown but still flexible. Fill each half with meat.
