- 2 1/2 pounds lean beef for stewing, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can whole tomatoes, chopped and undrained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 4 drops hot sauce
- Small biscuits
Directions

1Place all ingredients, except biscuits, in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove cover, and continue cooking over low heat 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Place in chafing dish; serve with small biscuits.
