- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 c. warm water (100~ to 110~)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 9 c. unbleached white flour (approximately)
- 1 large egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water (for glaze)
Directions

1Combine yeast and water in a large mixing bowl, stirring until dissolved.

2Add the sugar, oil, salt and eggs.

3Using a wooden spoon, beat in 3 cups flour to make a smooth batter.

4Gradually add enough flour to make a soft, workable dough that pulls away from sides of the bowl.

5Turn out onto a large, lightly floured surface and knead 8 to 10 minutes, adding more flour as needed.
