- 2 cans refried beans
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- grated Cheddar cheese
- chopped lettuce
- flour tortillas
Directions

1Melt some shortening in a small frying pan.

2Slit flour tortillas in the center with a paring knife and about 5 times around the outside edge to keep from curling. Fry on each side until just golden brown.

3Brown the hamburger.

4Add beans, taco seasoning, tomato sauce and salt.

5Place a tortilla shell on a plate and cover with some meat mixture, sprinkle on the cheese and lettuce.

6Then pass the taco sauce.

7Keep the extra shells in a plastic bag to use until gone.

8Also, keep the leftover grease in a jar to use next time.
