Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1 (4 oz.) can taco sauce
  • 1 avocado, mashed with enough oil and lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. picante sauce (or salsa)
  • 1 small carton sour cream
  • 1 layer chopped or sliced olives
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • grated Cheddar cheese to cover

Directions

    Mix beans with taco sauce over medium heat.

    Spread in bottom of serving dish that is 2 to 3-inches deep.

    Mix picante sauce with mashed avocado; spread on bean mixture.

    Add in layers the sour cream, olives, tomato, onion and finally cheese.

    Serve with Doritos, Fritos or tostados.

    You need a spoon to start, then chips.

    Do not make more than 1 hour ahead and do not refrigerate.
