  • 1 (1 lb. 1 oz.) can fruit cocktail
  • 1 small box peach or strawberry jello
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • dash of salt
  • 1 pt. Cool Whip
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Drain fruit cocktail.

    Add enough water to make 1 cup.

    Boil and pour over jello.

    Add water, orange juice, lemon juice and salt.

    Place in refrigerator.

    When syrupy, add fruit and Cool Whip. Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
