- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 qt. oysters
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Tbsp. cream
- 3/4 to 1 c. oyster liquor
Directions

1Combine bread and cracker crumbs and mix with butter.

2Put a thin layer in bottom of baking dish and cover with layer of oysters.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Add 1/2 of cream and oyster liquor.

5Repeat and cover with remaining crumbs.

6Bake for 30 minutes at 450°.

7Never have more than 2 layers of oysters.
