- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 qt. boiling water
- 1 c. stock or gravy
- 2 c. cold cooked meat
- 1 egg
Directions

1Cook rice in boiling salted water.

2Drain and line a greased mold or casserole about 1/2 inch deep.

3Cut meat in fine pieces. Mix beaten egg with meat.

4Add stock to meat and egg.

5Fill center of mold with meat mixture.

6Cover top of mold with remaining rice. Steam 30 minutes.

7Turn from mold.

8Serve hot with tomato sauce.
