- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. basil or 15 basil leaves
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and butterflied
- 1 lb. egg noodles flat pasta (small)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook pasta and set aside.

2Heat oil and garlic in skillet until garlic is golden brown.

3Add stewed tomatoes and simmer for 1 minute.

4Add basil and season with salt and pepper.

5Add shrimp and cook for 2 more minutes.

6Toss over pasta.

7Serves 4 to 6. This can be made with or without shrimp, or with sliced chicken breast.
