  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 Tbsp. salt
  • 5 Tbsp. carob powder
  • 4 c. scalded milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • carob powder (for garnish)

Directions

    Beat honey into egg yolks.

    Add salt and carob.

    Slowly stir in milk.

    In a double boiler, cook mixture over hot, but not boiling water.

    Stir constantly until mixture coats a spoon. Cool.
