- 8 slices white bread
- 8 eggs, beaten
- 4 c. milk
- 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. crisp crumbled bacon
Directions

1Remove bread crusts.

2Cut bread into cubes.

3Place in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, buttered.

4Combine eggs and milk; mix well.

5Pour over bread crumbs.

6Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.

7Cover and refrigerate overnight.

8Sprinkle with bacon. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
