- 4 slices bacon
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
- party rye bread slices
Directions

1Cook bacon; drain on paper towels.

2Crumble and set aside. In blender at medium speed, or in food processor with knife blade attached, blend cheese and next 4 ingredients until smooth. Stir in crumbled bacon.

3Cover and refrigerate, if not serving right away.

4To serve, bring spread to room temperature to soften slightly.

5Serve with party rye bread.
