- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/3 cup Crisco shortening
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup buttermilk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Mix flour, baking powder, and sugar together.

3Using a fork, cut in the crisco, add cheese and stir in buttermilk all at one time until blended.

4Roll out biscuits (or drop by tablespoonsful) on a well-greased baking pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
