- 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (room temperature)
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dried chives
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dill seed or 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
- cocktail rye bread
Directions

1Beat all ingredients except rye bread in medium bowl until creamy.

2Pack into 2-cup crock or non-metal container; cover tightly.

3Refrigerate at least 24 hours, no longer than 2 weeks. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before serving.

4Garnish with snipped chives if desired.

5Serve with cocktail rye bread.
