  • 12 cup butter
  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 cup carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 12 cups milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 14 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    Melt butter in a large pot, add cabbage, onions, celery, peas and carrots and saute 8-10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

    Add milk, corn, pepper and thyme, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
