- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. cauliflowerets
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. cubed ham
Directions

1In saucepan, combine water, vegetables, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

2Do not drain.

3In large saucepan, melt butter.

4Stir in flour, them milk and heat to boiling. Continue simmering, stirring constantly until thickened.

5Add Cheddar cheese.

6Stir until melted.

7Add undrained vegetables and ham.

8Heat through, but do not boil.

9Freezes well.

10Makes 8 servings.
