Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Cubed Potatoes
  • 1/2 cups Sliced Carrots
  • 1/2 cups Sliced Celery
  • 1/4 cups Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/4 cups Butter
  • 1/4 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Corn
  • 1-1/2 cup Cubed, Cooked Ham

Directions

    In a large saucepan, bring the water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and pepper to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes (until veggies are tender.) Remove from heat; DO NOT DRAIN.

    Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour. Add milk all at once; cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add cheese and stir until melted. Stir into the un-drained vegetables; return large saucepan to heat. Add corn and ham. Heat through, stirring occasionally.
