  • 1 medium red onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 2-1/4 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning, divided
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese, quartered
  • 8 dinner rolls, split

Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 40-45 minutes or until deep golden brown, stirring occasionally. Stir in wine. Bring to a boil; cook 10-12 minutes or until liquid is almost evaporated.
