  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 small canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 pkg. (7 oz.) fideo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth, divided
  • 4 fresh epazote leaves
  • 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese, divided
  • 2 tsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions

    Blend first 4 ingredients in blender until smooth.

    Heat oil in medium saucepan.

    Add pasta; cook 3 min.

    or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

    Add prepared sauce, 1 cup broth and epazote; cook on medium-low heat 5 min.

    or until most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring constantly.

    Add remaining broth; cook 8 min.

    or until pasta is tender, stirring frequently.

    Remove from heat; discard epazote leaves, if desired.

    Stir in 1/2 cup cheddar.

    Spoon into 9-inch pie plate; top with remaining Cheddar and Parmesan.
