- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Directions

1Grate and work cheese and margarine together until creamy. With your hands, mix flour, salt and cayenne until smooth.

2Chill dough for an hour, then roll to 1/2-inch thick on floured board and cut in rounds.

3Place in preheated 350° oven and bake 15 minutes or until pale gold.

4Good with soup and salad.
