- 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 12 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs, well beaten
- 13 cup applesauce
- 1 cup milk
- 1 12 cups firmly packed grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (optional)
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2Combine the flours, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

3In another bowl, combine the beaten eggs with the applesauce and milk.

4Whisk together until well blended.

5Add the wet mixture to the dry and stir vigorously until completely mixed.

6Stir in the cheese and optional dill.

7Pour the mixture into an oiled, 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

8Bake for about 50 minutes, or until the top is nicely browned and a knife inserted into the center tests clean.

9Remove from the pan after 10 to 15 minutes and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
