- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
- 1 c. cocktail peanuts
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
Directions

1Cut cheese into strips that will fit into chute of food processor.

2Lock bowl into position and place shredder disc inside.

3Cover.

4Fill chute almost to the top with pieces of cheese.

5Process at high speed to grate.

6Remove shredder disc and cheese.

7Position bowl again and put steel blade in place.

8Chop onion at high speed.

9Add cheese, peanuts, mayonnaise and seasonings.

10Process to blend thoroughly at high speed.

11Form into a ball.

12Wrap in plastic wrap.

13Chill thoroughly.

14Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
