- 2 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2/3 c. milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Combine flour, sugar and pepper.

3Cut butter into pieces and work into flour mixture until coarse and crumbly.

4Stir in cheese and milk just until dough comes together. Turn onto floured surface.

5Knead and pat down to a 1/2-inch thickness.

6Cut biscuits and bake on greased baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
