- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 1/4 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast on water.

2Add sugar, salt and 2 cups flour, then eggs and cheese.

3Beat well.

4Add remaining flour.

5Knead lightly.

6Let stand 10 minutes, covered.

7Divide into 2 loaves and let rise until doubled in bulk.

8Bake at 350° about 45 minutes. Keep in pans about 10 minutes before removing.
